Super Panga is a beachside taqueria serving up fresh seafood and spit-roasted meats reminiscent of the taco stands visited on Baja surf trips.
Super Panga was inspired by the taquerias that kept us fueled during the Baja surf trips of our youth, where there was endless potential for adventure mixed with the anticipation of the unknown and unplanned.
We returned to Newport beach sunburned, salty and sandy, with a hunger for the tacos and grub of the small taco shacks from our trip. Pulling from family recipes, traditional preparations, and locally-sourced ingredients, Super Panga was born!
